    Description

Boon is a redesign of the German card game, Sheepshead (which is the Americanized version of Schafkopf). Its game mechanics are the same as many of the house rules in Sheepshead. But rather than being played with a standard deck of cards, Boon uses a custom deck and renames elements of the game to make it easier to learn.

The objective is earn the most victory cards possible, by winning tricks and rounds. A player may choose to take the "Boon" pile of cards to help his hand. However in doing so, all other players are allied against this player. A test of strategy ensues as players decide the best card to play on each turn.
