Like all the Battle Box series, the American Civil War is an entry level game designed to bridge the gap between board gaming and miniature gaming for the young general in training.

The game comes with a game board, 20 detailed playing figures, dice, one page rules, and turn track/marker. It is a straight forward game with simple mechanics that allow quick and amusing play anywhere anytime.
